By accessing or using the Wakabus platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.

2Description of Service

Wakabus is a ride-sharing platform that connects drivers traveling to specific destinations with passengers heading the same way. We facilitate:

  • Matching travelers with verified drivers on similar routes
  • Secure payment processing for ride bookings
  • Communication between drivers and passengers
  • Trip management and booking confirmations
  • Customer support services

Wakabus is a technology platform and does not provide transportation services directly. Drivers are independent contractors, not employees of Wakabus.

3User Eligibility

🧳 For Travelers

  • • Must be at least 18 years old
  • • Must provide accurate personal information
  • • Must have valid payment method
  • • Must agree to community guidelines

🚗 For Drivers

  • • Must be at least 21 years old
  • • Must have valid driver's license
  • • Must have valid vehicle insurance
  • • Vehicle must pass safety requirements
  • • Must complete verification process

4Booking and Payment

Instant Booking

When you book a ride, payment is processed immediately and your seat is confirmed instantly. The driver is notified of your booking automatically.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through our platform. Drivers receive payouts after successful trip completion. Wakabus may charge a service fee.

Pricing

Drivers set their own prices within platform guidelines. All prices are displayed before booking, including any applicable fees.

5Cancellation Policy

Traveler Cancellations

  • 24+ hours before: Full refund
  • 12-24 hours before: 50% refund
  • Less than 12 hours: No refund
  • No-show: No refund

Driver Cancellations

  • • Drivers must honor confirmed bookings
  • • Cancellations result in full passenger refund
  • • Repeated cancellations may lead to account suspension
  • • Emergency cancellations should be reported immediately

6User Conduct

All users must:

  • Treat other users with respect and courtesy
  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not engage in discriminatory behavior
  • Not use the platform for illegal activities
  • Not harass, threaten, or harm other users
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards (drivers)

Warning: Violation of these conduct rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

  • Accidents or incidents during trips

9Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our platform. Continued use of Wakabus after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We encourage users to review these terms periodically.
